Welcome to the Joint EMC Europe 2027 Symposium

Dave Thomas

T

he Organising Committee is delighted to extend a warm welcome to all delegates to the joint EMC Europe and IEEE 2027 Symposium, to be held in the vibrant city of Glasgow.

Glasgow has much to offer delegates beyond the conference sessions. The city boasts a rich cultural scene, with numerous museums and art galleries offering free entry, including the stunning Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the award-winning Riverside Museum.

Visitors can explore the works of renowned artist and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, follow the city centre Art Mural Trail, or enjoy a stroll through one of Glasgow’s many parks and green spaces. As a UNESCO City of Music, Glasgow hosts over 150 live music events each week, alongside a full calendar of festivals and cultural events throughout the year.

The city’s diverse food and drink scene caters to all tastes, from traditional whisky pubs to fine dining, across lively neighbourhoods such as Finnieston (SEC), the City Centre, the West End, and Merchant City. Delegates can look forward to a warm welcome in a city voted “world’s friendliest city” by Rough Guides.

For those extending their stay, Glasgow offers excellent transport links for exploring Scotland, including daily tours to the Scottish Highlands. Further information can be found at visitglasgow.com.

The joint EMC Europe 2027 Symposium is the premier international conference on Electromagnetic Compatibility in 2027. It is a joint symposium sponsored by EMC Europe and the IEEE EMC Society, Signal and Power Integrity.

The event will bring together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, and discuss the latest advancements in Electromagnetic Compatibility.

The symposium will feature an exciting programme of keynote lectures from distinguished speakers, alongside technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, and demonstrations, covering a broad range of topics. Sessions from the EMC Society Global University will also be available at the symposium.

The joint EMC Europe 2027 symposium will be an excellent opportunity to, not only actively participate and engage in ground breaking discussions but, to also  take advantage of the chance to forge new collaborations that can shape the global future of electromagnetic compatibility and signal and power integrity.

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome at the joint EMC Europe 2027 symposium in Glasgow.
