Call For Papers

J

oin your colleagues in Glasgow, Scotland where you can share your insight, ask questions, build collaborations, learn from the experts/innovators and see new products at the 2027 Joint EMC Europe and international Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal & Power Integrity.

Your published paper will be seen by thousands in the EMC community and across the wide array of disciplines that look to the IEEE EMC Society for technical guidance. In addition, it will be uploaded to IEEE Xplore with unlimited exposure.

If there is a Special Topic Area such as a Technical Committee topic that warrants a dedicated session with papers from a variety of excellent authors, organisers should propose a Special Session with invited papers. Workshops and Tutorials offer another way to cover a topic area; presentations from invited speakers are submitted instead of abstracts or papers. Contributors who prefer to present their work as a live experiment or demonstration can submit a proposal for Experiments & Demonstrations.

EMC Europe is much more than gathering about a fascinating profession at the crossroads of multiple disciplines. It is also the pleasure of getting together and discovering new faces from all over the world in a friendly atmosphere.

We look forward to your active participation and once again extend a warm welcome to the EMC Europe 2027 Symposium in Glasgow.

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit original contributions on all EMC-related aspects within the technical areas listed above.

Only full 2-column, 4 to 6 pages papers, prepared according to the IEEE rules for style using the template provided on the EMC Europe 2027 website, will be peer-reviewed and checked for plagiarism using the IEEE CrossCheck portal.

Papers should be uploaded in PDF-format through the online conference system (www.conftool.org/emceurope2027) before 22 February 2027.

To submit the contribution, a new account has to be registered, or an existing author’s account has to be used. Final versions of accepted papers which will be presented at oral or poster sessions at EMC Europe 2027 will be submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore® database.

The Electronic IEEE Copyright Form needs to be signed for each paper and the appropriate copyright clearance code notice should be added on the bottom of the paper’s first page.

The Best Symposium Paper and Best Student paper will be selected by the International Steering Committee and awarded at the conference dinner.

Special Sessions

Special sessions focus on very specific topics and applications of interest related to the conference technical areas. All papers submitted for special sessions follow the same requirements and peer-review process as regular papers.

Please send the special session proposals to info@emceurope2027.org before 25 January 2027.

Workshops and Tutorials

Workshops and tutorials will be organised as interactive educational presentations to provide up-to-date practical help to those new to the subject or requiring an update, as well as to address in-depth topical subjects. Workshops and tutorials are typically arranged as a session with a suitable number of presentations by different presenters.

For accepted proposals, the workshop or tutorial organiser will be responsible for soliciting presentations, coordinating reviews, corresponding with session speakers, ensuring deadlines are met by all their speakers, corresponding with the symposium.

Please send the workshop or tutorial proposals to info@emceurope2027.org before 22 March 2027.
