Clayton R. Paul Global EMC University

A

special edition of the Clayton R. Paul Global EMC University will be offered at this joint symposium, providing a unique opportunity to learn from internationally recognised university faculty known for outstanding instruction in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This premium program from the IEEE EMC Society was first introduced at the 2007 International Symposium on EMC in Honolulu. At that time, Dr. Clayton R. Paul invited leading EMC educators from around the world to teach fundamental topics as they would be presented in a university-level course.

Since its debut, Global EMC University has been highly popular and has remained a key feature of every IEEE EMC Symposium. In 2013, the IEEE EMC Society Education Committee officially renamed the program “Clayton R. Paul Global EMC University” and implemented rigorous standards for both course topics and instructors to ensure a consistently high-quality educational experience.

Participants can expect in-depth coverage of essential EMC concepts, along with ample opportunities to engage directly with instructors. While there is no formal exam, attendees must complete all 16 hours of instruction to receive a course certificate. This program is complemented by the EMC Fundamentals tutorial, also organised by the IEEE EMC Society, making it an excellent addition for those seeking a comprehensive learning experience.
